In Shenzhen, China, we recently acquired a significant equity stake in a leading import/export company, China Agri Corporation (CAC). This participation serves two main goals: on the one hand, CAC provides sourcing and QC capabilities for products we distribute in the European Union, such as steam cooked poultry and seafood. On the other hand, CAC's impressive distribution infrastructure throughout China provides our European, North and South American suppliers with direct access to this enormous and growing market place.
In the Ukrain and other FSU markets, FBI Food Group has aligned itself with a credible importer that owns and operates a state-of-the-art cold storage distribution in Kiev for frozen poultry, pork and beef items sourced by us globally.
